EXPERIMENTS (2007-2008)

During an internship in Japan with designer Yoshiki Hishinuma, Pia was privy to the use of a dissolvable yarn used to temporarily bind garment pieces together. It was here that she first considered if this yarn could be knitted and used as fabrication for a garment. Upon returning to Australia she also found a dissolving non-woven fabric utilised in the creation of lace and began experimenting with this fibres capabilities.
